    Hello, there!
    The Regional Media Yakushima, a news outlet based in Yakushima Island, Japan’s first World Natural Heritage Site, covers political, economic, social, technical, and cultural issues. It launched on November 1, 2021, running two web news media, or The Hotto Yakushima and The Yakushima Post. The former is a comprehensive information magazine, and the latter provides investigative reports to reveal injustice, corruption, and omission. Journalists living in Yakushima manage the editorial board at the Regional Media Yakushima. We contribute to journalism and the improvement of civil society in Yakushima.
